INTEGRATED MARKETING REBRAND
WILLIAM JEWELL College
Challenge & Concept / create an overarching umbrella concept for a higher eductation institution centered around their 3-core values: Critical Thinking, Community and Meaningful Lives / Through the use of strategically pinpointed print and digital media, I was on the hook for all visual concepts and executions of various integrated collateral pieces, campaigns, and activations. In addition to working with my awesome CD/Writing partner, Aaron Weidner, for the overarching concept and direction, I was responsible for the lead design, illustration and execution of integrated collateral pieces in the system. This was a 6-month project from concept to completion with projects ranging from: college fair collateral, handouts, trade show booth design & materials, targeted banner ads, drip mailings, activations, signage, correspondence, and their final acceptance puzzle. Yes, they got to assemble a puzzle that welcomed them to the Class of 2022.

At the core of William Jewell's "three pillars" we focused on the pillar of critical thinking. Critical thinking is about finding a deeper understanding in order to find better solutions, which in turn help you make better decisions. The world doesn't need more college grads, the world needs more critical thinkers.
COLLEGE FAIR COLLATERAL HANDOUT
We partnered with Breakout KC to organize a friendly mobile breakout room battle against local high school teams. This activation kept the critical thinking pillar at the forefront, while bringing in a fun, interactive compontent that captured media attention from the Greater KC Metro.

The new "three pillars" icon was inspired by the same three pillars that physcially hold up Jewell Hall's historic front facade that students, faculty and visitors have seen for decades. We wanted to bring the 3 pillars to the forefront, so I created a simple, yet bold graphic icon that was the underlying thread of all new creative materials and collateral.
BRAND BOOK FOR INCOMING FRESHMAN
To finish off our journey, I designed a stationary system for correspondence. Once admitted, each incoming freshman received their acceptance letter in the form of a puzzle, that once assembled said "Welcome to the Class of 2022."
